2017 MOVIE NIGHTS
|One of Dauphin Island's most popular seasonal events, the Sunday Sunset
concerts on West End Beach runs monthly from May to October. Celebrating the
Island's natural beauty and designation as the "Sunset Capital of Alabama", the
concerts begin about 90 minutes before the sun goes down.
Kicking off the 2017 season on Sunday, May 28th, Lisa Mills brings her special
brand of Southern Soul Americana Gospel & Blues to our laid back island. The
Mississippi native now calls Mobile home and is a local favorite both here and
throughout Europe and the United Kingdom thanks to her annual festivals tour.
The show starts at 6pm with sunset around 7:45pm
Music and beach lovers are invited to bring lawn chairs, (perhaps a little bug
spray, just in case) and a laid back attitude to the West End Beach. Admission is
only $5 per person and those 12 and under are free. All proceeds benefit the
project to renovate the Little Red School House
